A quiz!

What sort of Hindu are you?

Ok, that's funny in and of itself.

And, no surprise for me, it said:
You are a cultural Hindu. You are a secular or cultural Hindu, perhaps not unlike Jawaharlal Nehru (who identified himself as a Hindu, but as one with little interest in God or in some popular expressions of the faith). You are a rationalist, but value Hindu culture because it provides community and identity for yourself and your children. You are deeply committed to India and its civilizational excellence.

Although I was pretty close to being a "World Traveler," too.

Still, the quiz itself was very informative. I learned that you can be a bhakta, or an intellectual Hindu, or even that there is such a thing as a cultural Hindu and that Nehru was one. Also, I learned that the Ramayana and Mahabharat and other stories are together called the "Puranas." Who knew? Also, wth is the "Law of Manu"?
